Unvented Competent Persons Scheme

Hi all. I know NICEIC and Corgi run these but which one (from your experience) is the best one to join? With the annual prices these outfits charge it just seems like a license to print money for them. Someone is getting very rich!

I agree - some of the competent person schemes are far too expensive, it does seem like money for old rope.
If you're on the gas safe register you can notify unvented installs through them.

Hi mate, I'm not GSR yet. Working on it with a member of this forum but it's going to take a while. That said, I'm happy enough with all of the non-gas elements of heating systems. Does anyone know of a cheaper scheme than what CORGI or NICEIC are offering? I just want my unvented ticket at the moment basically.

Put mine onto my Oftec ticket, cost £100 to register it as another 'skill' and then som much per notification.
