Whats the rules/regs on unvented water heaters with regards to certifying?

I've got my unvented hot water cert G3. It's due to expire later this year and I've never needed it, but now may start subbying to a firm that does water heaters (all sizes 5 litres to 400 litres I belive). I have totally forget how to register the unvented unit, does it need an application first? The water heaters are due to be fitted into schools and offices.

Any help appericated.

Please note I don't need info on D1 & D2 pipe sizing of max/min lengths etc just whats the regs and different sizes.

Thanks

speak to the company your subbying to, they are most likely going to be registering the work themselves tbh.

when i fit boilers sub contracting to a plumbing firm its left to them to notify etc...... i would expect the same unless the company has no qualified/CPS it can use, then do it yourself but charge them extra for it.

The company just got rid of the bloke that used to fit them, and they dont seem to know too much about the plumbing side of things (its mainly electrical work they deal with)
