You'll notice me messing around with forum categories a lot over the coming days/weeks.

Anything you'd like to see?

I want more DIY forums. But then at registration, you choose DIY / Water Plumber (or bathroom fitter etc) / Gas Engineer / Customer looking for a plumber / etc etc - And then when they pick DIY, they're locked into just their forums.

Plumbers can reply if they wish then, but can't make new threads in there without special permission (As a DIY helper) that's what we have and it works on electrical forum.

Once then down as one, you can't change it. So it's not fool proof, you'd make another account, but then that triggers clever tools, more clever than last years set of tools.

Also, while I have you.

Have you checked your password recently on the forum? - Would you mind changing it to something stronger if you think it could be weak? We have a new password checker that uses a couple of cool tools to check for you whether it has been found hacked before in a database, therefore is in circulation as attempts to guess it.

If you find a password that works here, it's a good one (but if you worry that we know it - we don't, it's hashed out (hidden) for Me and Lou, and only me and Lou have access to account areas. We never need your passwords to help you fix something in your account.

CHECK IF YOUR FORUM PASSWORD IS SECURE: https://www.plumbersforums.net/account/security

Also, if you wish, you can enable two-step auth. Not really essential on here. But perhaps is on your gmail / yahoo / apple email addresses.
