Hi all,

I have several customers on the same estate as myself with the Boilermate 3 thermal store linked up to a Potterton Suprima 40 gas boiler.

The system has a Grasslin mechanical clock on the boilermate 3 cylinder and a Potterton PRT2 (240v & 4wire) stat in the hallway.

The systems are about 15yrs old now and several people have asked re upgrading controls as an effective way forwards of reducing operating costs at minimal cost as most of the problems with the boilers have been sorted out over the years under servicing contracts.

I am fully versed on the issues with the boilermate 3 controls and system cleansing so no issues there.

I have looked at fitting a Drayton Digistat+ RF or Salus ST620RF as they seem simple to operate for elderly people and young alike but am open to suggestions.

Thanks again.

Andy
