Use On/Off Showerhead to fix faucet leak

My bath faucet (in which only the Showerhead works) leaks water, a drop a second.

I want to avoid bringing a plumber due to CoVid.

I tried a Showerhead with on off button but it didn’t work, it still leaks a drop a second when in Off.

Do you think it is because of low quality, or all On/Off showerheads leave a little water get out so this is not a fix?
