I am having a problem with a friends boiler the heating is working fine but the hot water is running only warm if you reduce the flow at the tap the temperature increases but still not that hot. I have checked the flow and return are not heating up with the water running and the temperature stays constant doesn't go hot cold and the burner doesn't fluctuate. My first instinct was the heat exchanger but am not sure any ideas on this? I am GSR but only really do installs so my brakedown knowledge is not great so any help would be much appreciated.
