Vaillant 831 combi

Installed my first vaillant combi today, all nice and pretty, commissioned it as per manual, every know and then the fan makes a spluttering noise then clears itself, it was gone 5 when I was doing this and client away, so I couldn't ring vaillant for all info, so turned it off and will sort in the morning. Anybody any ideas why the fan in spluttering? Only lasts a few seconds then goes.

Just an idea, are you 100% sure all the internal flue joints are pushed together properly?
Did you let it run awhile and retry and was it still the same?

I'm pretty sure they are but il will check them, the flue is quite long. But within the max lengths etc. I will double check them in the morning though if that's a possible cause.
