Vaillant abd condense pump.

Anybody know if a non Vaillant condense pump can have its pump safety cut off wired to the vaillant board "burner off" connector? If so is there a menu setting that needs to be changed?

Pretty sure you just take them off the pumps switched live. Ring up manufacturer.
unless its on vailliants bus connector

I have the condense pumps switch wired to interrupt the 230v to the boiler (831). But I dont like the idea of disconnecting the power from a boiler intended to have a permanent live.

Just had a look through vailliants condensate pump.

appears an ecotec 831 is connection type b which is low voltage, i think its a no go sir.

switch live to boiler should powering the pump so if the pump fails the boiler doesn't fire. normally a diagram with the pumps telling you how to wire it.
