Vaillant and Glow worm flues

Are the vertical terminals for glow worm and Vaillant the same / interchangeable?
Does using one brand with the other constitute a breach of Mi's or regs?

I believe that the correct answer is it breached the MIs although I believe certain Vaillant/Glowworm technical advisors would tell you different (rightly or wrongly)
