Vaillant combi boiler

My sister has a vaillant combi boiler, the issue she is having is she turns the tap on,the boiler fires,it comes out hot, but then goes cold after about 5 seconds, and there are no fault codes being shown on the boiler. I am thinking is this a flow switch issue? or a thermister issue? any help would be much appreciated.

Im a plumber, but havnt really had much experience fault finding, and the trouble is shes telling me all of this over the phone as I live far away from her

You need a gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers for your own safety.
