Vaillant eco tech plus 824

Does anyone know will a grundfoss pump head fit this boiler. Got a breakdown and ant get vaillant till tomorrow ? Be good to know anyway.

I thought the old ones had will heads that failed... The replacement is a grundofs kit but have to change the whole shebang

It's got a different impeller. Will fit , but won't work.

Yes just looked at it pump runs clockwise. Most others run anti clockwise ..... Customer recons ten years old ??

I'm Sure someone told me you should fit the manufacturer pump in these vaillants as some heads have smaller impellers and don't always make the pressure switch. Might be my imagination though, I've always fitted manufacturer pump.
To be fair this was back when you could get a SE pump heads.
