I have an ecomax in my home that has started playing up and not delivering hot water to the bath or basin upstairs in the bathroom.
In the kitchen the water runs hot but go up and turn the basin tap on and it will run scalding hot then get cold, the bath lukewarm if you are lucky.
Having been a plumber, until I retired, I am not a heating engineer so do not know what is wrong with the boiler.
In past experience I have found, purely by chance, that the pressure vessel was low on pressure. After a few pumps from my bycycle pump all was well.
Does anyone think that this could be the problem with my boiler before I take the front off to have a look inside?
