Hi i have installed one of these into a large, does this boiler have frost protection built in. or do i need to buy a external stat. If one is built in does it just run its self as long as boiler is on . or does heating hot water have to be on cont on the programer

Yes it does ( last time I checked) but it's better to have one to protect the system itself as the one in the boiler only protects the boiler

Works best not if you do what one of my customers did a couple years ago went on holiday for three weeks in severe cold snap left gas on but not electric as she said "but its a gas boiler"
