Vaillant ecotech pro 28 boiler query

I've not been in my new property very long and would like to know what temperature to set the boiler's central heating to (Vaillant ecotech pro 28).

Not having a manual I assume I have to press the button below the radiator logo and increase or decrease the value shown on the LCD screen.

I've seen reference to different temperature settings for cold winters, mild winters and spring/autumn and would like to know what temperatures equate to these periods.

Set the boiler to 70 degrees, this will allow the radiators to be hot enough to heat the rooms, while still condensing as much as possible.
Your room thermostat will do the rest.
