Just had text for vaillant I installed couple months ago saying they have had boiler off for several weeks turned on and its thrown up f28 and f54

Any ideas before I call back

Gas related, Give the gas valve a whack.. normally works for me with this issue, If not get manufacturers visit out.

they also do f28 when the condence is blocked up to the heat exchanger

i say that because the one in my flat went, as a tenant i'm not allowed to touch it so didnt even take the cover off

engineer come out and my missus says my other half is a gas engineer and rings me, this guy asks me what i think it is and i told him probably the gas valve has gone, but i havent done any fault finding, so he goes out and gets a new gas valve

couple of hours later my missus calls me saying the engineers has put the new part in and left but its gone again. So when i get home i take the lid off and theres water coming out of the sight hole

how he didnt notice i dont know

New insulation pads new g10 new everything. That's a common fault in the ultra com glowing she'd done a few. Be Careful removing torx bolts as if they have been wet they shear off when removing burner
