Vaillant flow switch

Hi fellas, I've got a Vaillant 831 Eco Tec plus with s10. The boiler thinks the hot tap is running. I'm thinking flow switch, anyone repaired one or cleaned one? Or had other outcomes to this fault?

If the tap even drops I've known them to hold hot water on. Also check for moisture on the plug to the sensor I seem to remember them suffering from moisture bridging the signal.

Did you try switching it off and then switching it on again?

Probably just needs a power flush, magnetic filter and put on to a useless service contract

I assume you have turned off the cold mains to the boiler just too make sure there are no leaks on hot pipework or taps?

Yes, tried that. Been in to tech help, and aparantly it's the board. The pcB can only pick up the signal when the flow sensors spinning.

Have you tried checking power is going out to the flow sensor before you go to the expense of a pcb
