Got intermittent fault on hot water with the above boiler. Microswitch been changed twice and weep line been cleared after being advised by technical. Made 3 sites visit and every time I'm on site the boiler fires no problem, original microswitch changed just over a week ago. Was working fine for a week then got the dreaded call. Changed it over again just in case of faulty replacement part. Starting to pull my hair out now. Any help, advise or previous experience with this boiler would be appreciated.

Hi mate. Is the boiler over heating or showing fault code? Or is it just a sometimes does sometimes doesnt intermitent..

Nope. Boiler not over heating, it's one of the lord turbomax with the black control panel so no fault codes. The first time I made site visit boiler would not fire, tested microswitch and was gone so replaced it and all working fine. Every time I got back as soon as I turn on the tap boiler fires no problem.

Did you check the fulcrum arm is not broken ? I think they call it the "Bow". it's a little plastic arm that pushes down on the micro-switch. The micro-switch position is adjustable on these diverters, is it in the right position ? If the Bow is broken, they are supplied in the service kit. Makers part number:

Sorry for the delay guys. Made another site visit and again boiler firing on hot water demand no problem. diff pressure switch checked, hoses checked, bow arm checked and making contact every time. I was a bit hesitant due to the fact the boiler in a small kitchen and mounted close to the right hand side wall with not much clearance below to take off the bottom part of the diverter valve and due to the fact I thought would have problems getting it to reseal but did it anyway and my suspicions were correct. Diaphragm in very good condition but what a pig it was to get to seal again. Managed to break the plastic circlip onto the diverter valve, so that meant a trip to the merchants. All back together firing as before. Tenant hasn't called yet so will play it by here. Thanks for the advise guys.
