I've done a search and seems it is very common to have hot water problems with Turbomax's. The one I have been to today is a Turbomax VUW 242-5.

There seems to be 2 individual hot water problems.

First of all, when the hot water gets hot, the water pressure in the taps reduce, but the water stays hot, this happens in all the taps.

Secondly and only occasionally, the hot water just sometimes goes off and runs cold, even after being on for a while, say in the shower and no other taps or washing machines have came on.

Probably a problem with the diverter valve but I'm unsure wether just parts of it, or the whole thing needs replacing, or if its something else altogether. Will read the manufacturers instructions now and phone Vaillant techinical in the morning but I hope someone here has seen this problem before, thanks.
