Hi
Hi am having some trouble with a Vaillant turbomax vuw. I got called to look at it the client said it locks-out she resets it it ok for a while then locks out again.

I get there 1st thing I notice the is 0bar pressure. So I refilled it. Reset it fired up perfect 1st time. However, it doesn't seem to modulating and when I turned the boiler stat down the boiler stops and when I turned it back up it took about 5mins to relight it's elf but it did come on fine. I repeated this twice. (During the 5mins waiting for the boiler to relight if I opened the hot water and then closed it the heating would come back on straight away)

i presumed it was the lack of pressure that caused the lockout but about 5 hours later it locked out again but it is holding its pressure fine. So though the fault guide it has led me to diagnose it as a faulty solenoid. However I think it more likely the pub board or maybe aps.

Any of you thoughts would be much appreciated
