Vailliant Ecotec Pro Expansion Vessel

Hi all,

I am going to look at the above combi boiler at a customer's tomorrow. They are complaining of pressure loss in the system. There are no obvious signs of leaks although there is some buried pipework. Gonna check the expansion vessel first. If it does turn out to be a knackered vessel how easy/hard are these to change? Could you give me any tips to make it easier? How long would you expect it to take you?

i think its fitted to the side so it should be easy. no stripping down other parts to get to it

Easy to change, one nut and a couple of screws, you might want to change the prv if its been passing.

As said, one of the easiest expansion vessel to change, shouldn't take you long to do, if required.

I think all new boilers should have these located on the front side.
