Been having problems with the pressure in my boiler for months now, it dropped at least once a day and I was constantly adding pressure to get the heating and hot water on. Then came the F75 fault, the manual diagnosed water pressure sensor, pump defective, air in the heating system or too little water in the appliance. I was told by my plumber to source a water pressure sensor, which he fitted and to the detriment of £80 but I still had the F75 error. Then he drained a little water from the pump and now I have hot water and no errors on the boiler. Trouble is, when I put the heating on, the pressure rises into the red within 10 minutes and I have to knock it off manually. Plumber now says I should change the pump, flush my system and/or change the temperature sensors. Process of elimination, he says, but I want something more concrete before I start shelling out £200 a pop. Any ideas?

I would say get a decent heating engy doesn't sound like what he's saying is right

Make sure who ever you get is gas safe registered

If the pressure guage is swinging right over fast there is another issue that any competent engineer will fix pretty quick.

As shaun said - choose another engineer
