S.30 means "Room thermostat (RT) is blocking heating mode".

Which Drayton RF stat do you have?

S.30 No heating demand from external controls (clamp 3-4 open)
Straight from the Vaillant book.

Drayton stats are renowned for the receiver to play up.

Maybe needs re-commissioning?

scr receiver ,it has on it two lights green and red and a overide facility

I was really meaning the control unit which sends signals to the SCR.

Does the green light come on when the control unit calls for heat?
If no, either the two parts have lost communication and need re-binding, or there is a fault in one/both parts.

Does the boiler light when the override is used?
If no; the SCR is faulty.

Does the over-ride work?

green light comes on when i call for heat but boiler does not respond,but when i press the over ride button it does not work no light no call for heat, i linked boiler and boiler works fine.....scr .....faulty...
