Hey up all,

happy mothers day

Anyone stripped out a water section on one of these?

Got a siezed water temp control knob for a good customer and would like to strip it out for him and replace diaphragm while im there and change washers etc etc.

As its nearly £100 for a new section i feel a stripdown is well worth while,

what do you reckon my chances of a successful repair are on this particular water section ?

Yes ,should not be a problem as long as top seal has not leaked and corroded the locking nuts,if so big problem, the diagram very rarely goes on these but can still get if you need
however if stuck on max would leave as is and restrict flow at inlet if required
If flow low first thing to check is plastic filter in joint were pipe connects to valve inlet. More likely to be blocked

imho

cheers puddle,

well its the actual knob you cannot turn it, and it is weeping a bit.

Its stuck on quite low and he wants it higher.

Top seal? Which one is that? The one nearest the knob?
