HI, been to look at a Valor 341 Gas Fire, the problem with the fire is that it does not ignite all the time, the is a spark at the pilot, but it does not ignite all of the time, any ideas what the problem is. There is gas getting to the pilot and when it does ignite the flame looks ok.

Cheers

dirt in the injector or the injector is worn or spark weak if its a battery type ignition try a new 9v battery first

I have looked at the instructions for the appliance, and there is no mention of a battery. Is the injector for the pilot light at the pilot light or on the control valve?

If the spark is good, you'll need a new pilot assy. Look down onto the pilot frame, there'll be a code starting NG with 4 numbers. This is the order code, give it to your spares speciallist.
