Morning all
After ripping up the carpet yesterday ready to put down laminate I have found two of these valves. I think they may be for the old heating system (house was built 1969) as there are other water pipes chopped off level with the concrete floor in the same room.
I would like to chop these ones level to the floor as well but didnt know if they might contain water or gas. As my plumbing skills are limited.im not sure how to check without getting into a predicament of unscrewing that square part right out and then ending up with a leak?
Any advice appreciated, thank you
