Van racking ideas for a vivaro?

hi guys. Have any of you got any tips for a cheaper alternative to some van racking? Although I’m wanting some racking I don’t fancy the big bill. And help would be great.

Ha. Very true. I am certainly not a landlord but I must have spoke to a few to pick up the lingo.

Nice one. Is that sturdy enough to hold fittings trays and stuff like that? How have you fixed it to the van so it don’t move? I’m worried I’ll hit a pioe or wire

Mines 12mm and 2x1 cls

Fixed to the ply lining hasn’t moved yet touch wood been trans planted into two vans

Yes not gone anywhere 50 X 50 timber screwed into the ply lining then built of that. Kop

Is the ply lining just 4mm ply screwed to the frame of the van? My van has some lining but some of it sits into the recess of the panels and some sits on top of the vans frame work if that makes sense.

If doing it from scratch I'd try to incorporate a vam vault or van vault slider in the design! Gotta look after the expensive stuff!

10mm ply in there fixings where possible tube of sticks like s--- its supported off the floor so surprising strong once you start building it. kop

It is only basic but I will have a space up the bulk head for the vault.
