Hi

Ive been to look at unvented HW system that has been discharging.
its had a new PRV(pressure relief) fitted 2 years ago and seems to be working correctly.
i checked the expansion vessel which has a gauge on it showing one bar but when pressed the valve nothing came out ( air or water).
Reckon I should recharge it first and see how that works. Any other ideas boys?
System is about 15 years old

Seems like a good starting point.

What should the pressure be according to MI's?

Cheers secret
Label says 3 bar max With factory per charge 2.1
Got a picture of it if I can work out how to put it on here fom my ipad lol

Thats definetly where I'd start then,

If the pressure drops it may be the lining thingy inside that has a problem (can't remember what it is called, too many glasses of wine)
