Hi all.
I'm new to this forum and would appreciate some advise/ pointing in the right direction for a horizontal or short vented thermal store. A customer has 4 bathrooms, 24 radiators and 2 UFH zones and wants to upgrade his system(currently a baxi regular boiler 36kw and a standard vented cylinder on the other side of the house in a y plan) to a new system boiler an s plan configuration with a thermal store to accommodate future solar thermal. He also has a gas fired aha that he would like to pipe into the store. Any alternative suggestions to this and companies that supply a horizontal or short (1.2m) thermal store would be appreciated. Thanks, Carwyn

Blimey! Douglas engineers Scotland can fabricate anything you like and deliver. A 1.2m thermal store will be pointless, can't you fit a huge ACV SLME? TBH you need to design it around loads and not available space first then location.
