Viessmann and inhibitor?

Have to do a partial drain down on a system with a viessmann combi.
It’s not a boiler manufacturer I come across often. Should they have inhibitor or not?

They have always said no inhibitors Scott , I never fit it in a new install , but I have fitted it in some early instals .

If you can maintain water quality then no none needed but if you can’t and it’s an old sys put a bottle in

The boiler was fitted just over a year ago but the customer has just bought the house.

System was converted from a back boiler but no idea if it was flushed etc.
The reason for the drain down is they left F,R and gas pipes in the chimney breast.
