I have a problem with a customers Syntesi which goes to 01 fault takes a couple of goes to reset then ok for a day or two, seems worse when its cold. so far have changed ignition and main pcb which worked for about 3 weeks then same error. had flue apart and checked/ remade all flue joints. Then last visit found moving lead to main pcb recreated fault so reconnected plug securely, thought Id fixed it only to find it worked fine for a day!!! any obvious/ common reasons for 01 fault on this model? I don't work on these very often.
Sticking gas valve?
Electrodes.?
Fan venturi?

Cheers in advance

Have you set the minimum and maximum burner pressure ? Is the sufficient gas at the inlet ? Is the polarity ok ?

You need a gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. If you are gsr please increase your post count to 10+ then send a pm to either Gas man or Redsaw who will then check you and then give you access to the gsr private forum.
