looked at one of these today and the air pressure switch has only one hose to it this is attached to fan,when switch is proved it modulates gas valve supposed to,but this is just reaching temp, knocking off, cooling down and knocking back on, any ideas,it also wont stay on if combustion cover is on,works as described with cover off.

yes thats what i have suggested ,but there seems to be a running theme with these wonderful piece's of engineering master strokes,regarding air pressure switch,venturi ,combustion cover,i mean take a tube off it works fine, leave the cover off it works fine,what about the gas valve not modulating..

Is the flue ok? I think the connections to the gas valve need to the right way round for it to modulate. Perhaps try switching them round.

yes flues fine i don't think changing valve connections will make any differance , but i will try it and let ya know..
