Had the above fitted by a friend (corgi reg) some 3 months ago . Old combi had give up the ghost after 12years so had to change quicky. New combi works great but at the time of installation didnt have the money to fit TRV's to the old radiators or any Temp controls ,

Got the money now and gonna replace all 8 rads obviously with TRV's , could you give me any reccomendations for the best way to control room temperature , and how much would I need to pay to have say :a wireless temperature control in my living room , presume something would need wiring into the new combi , not sure how it works so any advice would be much appreciated and am I right in assuming that once this work is completed I would meet part L regs??

cheers guys

ps anyone had any negative feedback about Vokera boilers ae are they okay??

keep the mechanical clock, wire in a rf, or even a hard wired stat.
Rf stat £80+ quid very simple to fit. £200 all in fitted?
I dont fit Vokera, every plumbers got his/her favorite manufacturer.

dont fit trvs in with the room stat, and hope your guy was gas safe not corgi. be careful with wiring in your wirless stat into your boiler, one little mistake and new pcb can be £100-00 plus when you fry your pcb. did your mate notify your install to give u the ticket you want?

:(:(:(trvs/programmer and room stat should have been fitted at time of installation so as to comply with regs.sorry but your gas friend should have complied to this whether cash was short or not,i would be surprised if it had been notified due to the above not being fitted.i hope he flushed the system and treated appropriately, cutting corners is not a good idea.not being a killjoy but rules are rules.cannot comment on vokeras as i do not install them:cool:
