Hi Guys New to the boiler diagnostics, so go easy
http://www.vokera.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Compact_A_User_and_Install_Manual-v1.pdf

Carried out initial electrical safety test.. Earth resistance, Resistance to earth, Short circuit and polarity all ok.
Put a hot water demand on the boiler, pump and fan engage, ignition sequence starts and the boiler fires and lights Fan speed then increases for about 5 seconds then boiler locks out and LEDs goes to solid amber and red
My first thought was flame rectification electrode. Tested with multimeter at the board and it was ok.Called volkera and they suggested it was the PCB as no further ignition attempt were made (should try and relight 5 times)
Given i'm a rookie before i get the customer to fork out £150 for a new PCB.. Just wanted to get a second opinion...
