Hi all.

I'm an end user with a 5 bed detached house which had a new Vokera HE Mynute fitted about 4 years ago (and new radiators etc). It's been a nightmare ever since; indeed some of you may remember that this forum helped me diagnose a fault Honeywell valve which was stopping it switching on properly. However, it seems like another six months means a new load of problems. 1) It keeps losing pressure from the sealed system; some of it seems to leak out of the expansion tank, but I suspect there's more going elsewhere. 2) It has recently started giving fault 10 indications ("ignition problem") and now won't fire up at all.

Is it worth getting more and more repair work done, or should we just get a Worcester/Valliant fitted?
And does anyone have any short term suggestions for the fault 10?

Thanks all

Orac

Everyone's obviously being very coy about commenting about a particular manufacturer. Oh well. Had a specialist out. Board fault, £300ish parts and labour to fix, so it's the final straw and we're getting a quote for a Vallaint. Wish we'd never got the Vokera, it's been nothing but trouble.

Not at all. We can only advise you to get a competent GSR out to look at it.
