Every few weeks my boiler stops working with a 04 Error Code.
Checking the manual states that this is a Ignition Failure and to check the pressure.
The pressure on the boiler is always okay between 1 and 1.5
This started happening a few months ago after a service
If I reset the boiler it starts to work again. Sometimes I have to turn it off at the mains for a few mins.
The boiler was serviced at the end of Nov 2009 and in Dec 2008 I had a problem with a switch jamming and the Gas Enginner fixed this by changing all the parts in the Vokera Linea Service Kit and also replaced the Diverter Valve as it was making a funny noise and was on its way out.
Does anyone have any advice on what could be causing this latest problem?
I phoned the engineer who carried out the service as the issue started a few weeks later but he said all he did was clean the system and this would not cause this problem.
