Been to this it cuts out on hw after 30 sec with 07 code. In htg it runs until rads get hot and 56-62 on display then locks out with 07. Called tech but line was bad they said when it locks out turn a control knob to 9 o clock to Display temp boiler has reached anyone any ideas and which control knob they are on about.

Suspect they will be talking about when it's running in hot water, to turn the lever valve on the filling loop / cold supply to 9 o'clock and if the display shows 90deg etc then the plate heat is blocked and hence cutting out on high limit

That's what I thought he said but why would turning filling loop change the display. It also locks to 07 in htg after a bit how would plate effect that - unless it's going into pre heat

the volkera tech number is worthless, sometimes when i'm in a bad mood i call them just to have an argument, not as full filling as ranting and threatening a traffic warden but you can never find a traffic warden when you want one

if i ever have a traffic warden as a customer i'm going to put a volkera in his house

07 I believe is primary thermistor which are easy enough to change as a starting point.

Going Back with thermistor but still can't understand what turning filling loop will do when it faults

bit late but 07 is usually the thermistor we have got loads of these things at work,they are forever going to f7
