Vokera Linea Lock out.

Hello,

I have been called to a job where customer is complaining of the dhw going hot and cold. Water pressure drops and boiler going to lock out with code 02 coming up. Recently changed primary thermistor. Also recharged expansion vessel.

Just wanted opinions on what it may be? Pump, blockage on heat exchanger etc.

With my very limited fault finding experience seems to me like plate heat exchanger full of scale, causing boiler to trip due to overheat stat activating.

If heating is ok its not likely to be the pump.

Just had a look at the MIs and it states for code 02 :

02: Overheat - Normally associated with either
poor or lack of primary water circulation.
Wait for appliance to cool then reset
as described for code 01.

The appliance is overheating, IMO could be what I said on last post or faulty overheat stat.

Fire boiler on dhw, when burner cuts out turn off cold water isso valve immediatley check the display it should now read a max of 82c if it's higher, especially in the 90c's the plate heat exchanger's blocked.If your changing it the system will need chemically flushing
