vokera linea max loosing pressure

My customer have a

Vokera​

Linea Max. the boiler loosing pressure and he need to top it up every couple of days. No water leak from the discharge pipe but when I came to check the pressure in the expansion vessel, water were poring out of the valve. Is that mean the expansion vessel is faulty and need replacing? What this kind of job involve, how difficult is to replace the vessel?

erm. yes that means the expansion vessel is knackered
I cant remember if its a PITA job on that model vokera, but if it is very labour intensive (eg full stripdown to get to it) then we would usually add a new expansion vessel nearby

Yes the expansion vessell is knackered.

Two options really replace the one on the boiler, which if its located at the back it means removing the boiler usually.

Other option is to add a external expansion vessell.
