Has anyone any experience of these boilers. Is there a common failure for the fault code 04 (insufficent water pressure). The boiler was pressurised yesterday and worked fine all day. The went off showing code 04. There are no leaks to cause the loss in pressure.

I pressed the schrader valve before re-charging a few tiny speck of water came out. Is the expansion vessel knackered? when switched on, pressure on the boiler slowly rises to over 3 bar until the prv discharges.

Yep, Expansion Vessel is knackered !

Turned out to be both blocked tube and knackered exp vessel.
