However are we to believe ,with your qualifications you are working on the minimum wage and well below jib rates
Why would you do such a thing ?Your employers must be making a killing from what you are earning them and then they come out with a arrogant attitude like ' think yourself lucky you have a job'

I earn 16k. Been registered since just before last xmas and boss give me payrise from 14k to 16k recently. What do u do in work? I do a lot of lsc's, combi swaps and conversions and minor breakdowns but the apprentice is coming of age now so by xmas when it goes really busy I think I'll be on the breakdowns

I got wat u got plus nvq 3, solar, part L and a few legionella courses. I earnt 43k last tax year(thats with OT) at work but i do privates and gotta love the scrap!

Why do get outta bed in the morning for that?
Put it this way, I earnt exactly 3times that last yr, granted I did do a bit of OT throughout the yr (I don't over do it though, let's put it that way).
I'm acs, nvq3 and unvented and I repair heating.
U are getting ripped off mate, BIG TIME

20K basic plus motor & phone. On call every six weeks so get a bit extra for the week I'm on call. I service commercial boilers (schools, old peoples homes etc) and also we also have some work from a letting agency (lanlords certs, servicing). Also do some breakdown work. Get some overtime from time to time but its usually helping the pipefitters doing installs or upgrades.
Probably not great pay but I'm quite happy with it beacause I only completed my ACS a year ago and struggled to find a job with my limited experience (three months work experience while doing my NVQ and ACS).
Been with my firm five months now and am enjoying it, learnt a lot and the other service guys are only a phone call away if I do have problems.
