Washing Machine Inlet Valve

Hi,

I’ve recently had my washing machine connected however the chap who installed it said the water inlet pipe connected has a larger head thus resulting in the valve not turning resulting in no water or low pressure water.

What can I do to rectify this?

Personally I would back off the nut (not completely), open valve fully and then tighten back up.

Remove the blue handle and turn the valve with pliers/spanner.
You might find if you put the handle back on the other way up it will work fine anyway.
