anyone know anything about washing machines a customer phoned, i dont want to turn her away even if i turn up and confirm an engineer is needed i need every customer i can at the moment.

problem is the washing machine wont drain, anyone got any ideas

When did she last clean the drain filter in the machine?

underneath the machine is the drain pump, remove the flexible hose from machine, lower it to floor level in a bucket, most water will drain out. locate pump remove from wmachine, it will have toothpicks, clothes pegs, or something weird blocking the impellers.

You should be able to remove only pump head with impeller and motor attached,if all clear just replace pump head

Ok gents but where do we get the pumps for the washing machines? I have just spent £80 getting mine repaired! And the cheek of it the misses blamed me

Ok so there was a few washers, screws & rawplugs, the good news was they also found £5 in change :D
