The waste flu pipe that normally goes through the bathroom ceiling and out the roof to release smells has been repositioned to go straight out through the outside wall.We have started getting a smell every so often and were wondering if this pipe should have a u bend to stop smells blowing back down it or can you put a fitting on it to stop the wind blowing down the pipe but still allowing waste smells out.It might not even be this but it`s the only change been made,it might be a trap being drained, any advice willbe appreciated.dan
