Water always Hot. Hot water control is off.

Hi. Since moving in to the property last week I've noticed the hot water is always on. I've had a Nest thermostat fitted since and the problem persists. No Hot water Schedule is set at the thermostat and if I press hot water boost at the controls you can hear the boiler kick in (Unless the tank is red hot, then nothing happens).

At no point has there been cold water. at all. attached is pictures of the set up in my boiler cupboard.

i think your immersion heater may be on

By the looks of your pic immersion switch is on (light switch by the pump)

immersion is on as already said, but there should be a law against painting pipes lol

Is your 3 way mixing valve working correctly, has it been set to constantly open?
