water bed

about 2 years ago, i splashed out on a super king size water bed 2200 quid !
the bed is lovely and have never looked back. however soon i will be moving house.
apparently the individual "matress's" have baffles in them to stop the water from slopping about like the old water beds.
the manufacturer will send his teckie guy to drain and refill the matress costing about 400 quid. (mad face on)
has anybody ever done this before.
my plan is to use a hose and drain down the matress syphoning the water out, carefully roll up the thing, transport it, and refill within 4 hours.
i dont want to mess up the baffle system, ime a tight bottom so dont want to fork out 400 quid ( still makes me mad thinking about it )
some enlightening views required.

i was talking to a mate about a month ago whilst squeezing a cp12 fee from him.

he has the same bed and he told me how he did it but cant remember now as i was more interested in the story about when it sprung a leak and looked like his missus had wet herself.lol

The electric heater just sits under the mattress (mine does, anyway).

When mine was filled (from new) they just filled up the bath (several times) so the water was the right temp, then ran a hose to the bed and used a small electric pump to fill up the matress (with the heater under it).

They then used a heavy cardboard tube (from a carpet roll) to squeegee out excess air,

The baffles in mine are only vinyl, the matress was rolled up when it was new so I can't see any problems.

You should be able to siphon or pump the water out easily.

you know, i thought i might possibly regret posting this thread. now i know i do.
seriously was after some nice advice. you are all tools in your own world !!!!
would swear at this point but no point, imagine me guys now mouthing words at screen to you.
ive always been nice to everybody, but now emotionally shattered
i willl drain down my bed of my own accord and risk consequences.
these waterbeds of nowdays arnt like the old ones with the undulations and such. and if you have never slept on one you dont know what your missing
especially if you have back or neck jobbies to deal with !
they are really annoying nice in the making babies dept. but that was not the reason it was bought !
