After finding drops of water under the boiler , i had a look inside and discovered that the screw on top of the auto air vent is missing and water is very slowly weeping out of the hole

hunted high and low but can't find the screw anywhere :(

because water is coming out of the hole do i need a new vent?

thx

Yes the water will eventually rot through the boiler and it may be a new boiler, you'll also loose pressure

If it is inside the boiler its a job for a pro, gas safe that is not a prostitute.

If you have a problem you could fry the pcb, or you may have another issue already developing
