Intermittent water dripping from kitchen ceiling and overflow from bathroom (bath only) above. All water pipes and surrounding areas in bathroom, toilet and water tank appear dry and undamaged. What is the possible cause of the problem, what is involved to fix it?

If intermittent would suggest waste system leaking

First thing would check bath over flow fitting, through bath, they come loose and drop down slightly, leak when water splashed ,other wise ok

Had the same thing but seeing how I only have a bath twice a year,it was not so much of an issue ;-)

imho
