I have water coming from the overflow from the f/e tank. This happens when i switch on the boiler both in HW only and HW&CH. Can anyone help please.

First maybe try lowering water level in tank and make sure ball valve ok

Thanks for your reply. If it was the ballcock it would run all the time not just when the boiler is on ( i think)

if only small let by could fill tank just enough between boiler being on ,to increase tank level,so that added expansion hits the over flow,if you had boiler off log enough ,may well find tank would over flow anyway

could also be boiler thermostat out of calibration causing over heating and greater expansion again would show up if tank water level high

imho

Thanks again for your help. I have dropped the water level in the tank and that seems to have cured the problem.(hopefully)
