I have just installed a waterfall spout on my bath. The cold water runs fine however the hot supply has been reduced to a dribble. I suspect in may be due to the reduction of supply from a 15MM pipe to the 12mm fitting in the tap. How can I increase the flow rate on the hot supply?

If it is a mixer tap and the cold was mains pressure and the hot gravity fed that could cause a problem. If that is the case then what do the manufacturers instructions say?

I thoughtlessly bought a nice mixer tap for the sink when re-doing the bathroom. Then realised it wouldn't be suitable. I exchanged it for a similar style appearance that was.

thanks for replying
The tap is fed from a worster combi that is 4 years old. pressure at the boiler is 1 Bar. The pressure is good on all other outlets. When purchased suitability was confirmed by the supplier.

First thing you have to do is disconnect the hot feed to the taps, thats the only way to prove if its a flow problem or the taps.
open up the issolation valve and see what you get,the valve its self may be at fault. Also when you disconnect the hot,you may find a fillter built into the tap connector.
Hope this helps.
