I have a combi boiler and when I shower the water heat is very inconsistent.

I noticed on the boiler that the pilot light stays on and fades out. It then turns itself on again.

I did a bit of googling and it said that the thermocouple couple be dirty or damaged.

Is this the likely problem or should I call an professional out before I attempt to try and clean it?

It wouldn't be a free estimate as far as I was concerned, it would be a diagnose and fix, both chargeable. But that's how I operate my business.

Definitely need a gsr engineer though.
